ABOUT COLLEGE WOMEN'S BEACH VOLLEYBALL RECRUITING
College women's beach volleyball offers athletes the opportunity to play against high-level competition while also studying at a University. Beach Volleyball has became a popular sport as there are more than 1,500 college beach volleyball players and each year more colleges are adding a beach volleyball program.
To maximize your exposure and be discovered by college coaches you need to create an online recruiting profile with an NCAA verified third party. Your profile will allow college coaches to properly assess you as a prospect because it includes all the information they want to see including your recruiting video, key stats, academic level (GPA) and contact information.

WOMEN'S BEACH VOLLEYBALL SCHOLARSHIP STATISTICS
The following table numerically summarizes the availability of beach volleyball scholarships across the United States. Note: This shows the number of maximum scholarships a college can provide. This is called “fully funded”. However, many colleges do not have the maximum and therefore the number of total scholarships can be less than shown in the table. Athletic scholarships at colleges change yearly with increases and decreases, so you cannot fully determine who has available scholarships except by joining a network like ImRecruitable where you can find out directly what is available from the coaches.
HOW TO MAKE A BEACH VOLLEYBALL RECRUITING VIDEO
Knowing what to include attracting a coach’s attention is important. We have listed some guidelines to follow when filming your highlight video:
College Coaches like to watch game play and see you with following skills:

Passing: Show that you’re comfortable receiving float serves and jump serves. Add about 10 passes in total, from both sides (left and right).

Setting: Show in system, out of system, in transition, option, hut, etc. Provide footage that demonstrates you can create a better ball for your partner with both your hands and your platforms. Add about 10 sets in total, from both sides (left and right).

Attacking: Show that you are able to hit and shoot (hit angle, hit line, high line, short, cut, jumbo, etc.) from a variety of sets. Add about 20 attacks (about 5 of each).

Serving: Include the different serves in your repertoire, such as a jumper, jump float, standing float, short, etc. Add about 7 total serves.

Out of system/long rallies: Provide footage that shows how you handle the long rallies.
